4 DBH PROJECT 2008-2009: COUNTRIES OF THE EEC.

The European Union is composed of 27 independent sovereign countries which are known as member states: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.

The project is divided into two parts.

In Part 1 you gather information about the country you are assigned and make notes for each of the headings. Before making the notes, the class should decide what information should go under each heading. Find an appropriate map for your country on the Internet. Show your notes to the teacher.

In Part 2 you write the paragraphs for each heading, using your notes. The writing must be typed on the computer as a simple text document. Print a copy to hand in and send the document, along with the map, to your English teacher via email.

These are the paragraph headings and make sure that each paragraph is between 80 and 130 words:
